I was born in the Bay Area, but grew up just outside of Fairfield. I found my love of writing at a young age, filling notebooks with journal entries, poems, and stories, but it wasn’t until a creative writing class my senior year of high school that I considered pursuing writing as a career.
I went on to graduate from U.C. Davis with a Bachelor’s in English, double emphasis in Creative Writing and Literary Criticism, and from Johns Hopkins University with a Master's in Communications, double emphasis in Corporate and Nonprofit Communication and Using Digital and Social Media Communication.
After college, I took occasional freelance editing jobs from Scripted Inc. and freelance clients who need help with resume building or perfecting a personal statement. Because of my time with The Culture C.O.-O.P. and Scripted, I’m experienced in editing many genres, but I’m most interested in editing fiction (short stories or novels) and memoirs.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or just want to chat. I’m always open to making new friends. 😉
Wishing you the best in your writing endeavors,
